Best Time Window
- 7 AM - 10 AM: Pre-hatch nymphing with sowbugs and midges tight to the bottom of deep pools before fog lifts.

When the BWO hatch fires between 11 AM and 2 PM, watch the flat tailouts for rising fish and be ready to switch to a size 22 dry or emerger on a long, fine tippet — these Owyhee browns have seen pressure and will refuse a dragging fly instantly. Tonight's fog and a hard freeze to 27°F means tomorrow morning could be slow until the sun burns through, so plan your Monday session around the 9 AM fog lift and the midday warmth.
